Not Really sure how these little guys are made but they are sure Cute!
PVC pipe
postcard or white paper
hole punch
lollipop
tape
glue stick
card stock
decorative-edge scissors (an adult's job)
Instructions
Have your child hold a length of 2- to 3-inch-wide (depending on the type of lollipop) PVC pipe that's almost as tall as she is. She should stand against a solid background, if possible; all-white saves on printer ink.
Print the photo onto postcard paper (we found sheets of four postcards to a page at Staples) or white paper.
Punch a hole at the top of the PVC pipe, then insert a lollipop. To hold it in place, tape the lollipop stick to the back of the image.
Use a glue stick to mount the card onto a larger piece of card stock that's been cut with decorative-edge scissors.
Scissors
Lightweight colored paper for the body and the flame (we used a 3 1/4-inch pink square for the body and a 3-inch orange square for the flame)
Double-stick tape
A roll of round candies (we used Life Savers candy)
A foil-wrapped Hershey's Kiss
Marker
Instructions
For the body, cut the paper to fit around the roll of candy, including a bit of overlap. Tape the paper to the roll.
Cut the tail flames and include a 1/4-inch tab, as shown. Snip the tab in half along the solid line, fold the 2 flaps in opposite directions, and tape the flame to one end of the candy roll.
Tape a wrapped chocolate kiss to the other end.
Use a marker to write your message on the rocket or the flames.
Materials
Wrapping or scrapbook paper
Glue stick
Small, empty matchbox
Paper fastener
Stickers, gems, or ribbon
Paper or card stock
Instructions
Use wrapping or scrapbook paper and a glue stick to cover the outside of a small, empty matchbox as well as the front and inside of its insert.
Add a paper fastener to the front of the insert to serve as a pull, and decorate the box with stickers, gems, or ribbon, as desired.
Cut a strip of paper or card stock that will fit, folded accordion-style, into the insert (our strip is 1¾ by 7½ inches). Write a note on the strip, decorate it, and tuck it into the box.
